Easter 2013

The Easter egg hunt this year was in the back AND front yard this year you know you have to keep things interesting for the kids. 

 John helped Knoxx find a few eggs. most of the time Rocklond would come and grab them before Knoxx could.

 I had the kids in my Preschool help with  making some Cascarones (confetti filled eggs) that was a fun end to our Easter egg hunt.

and no Texas Easter egg hunt would be complete without some fire ant bites. 

since Knoxx wasn't much competition Rocklond found almost all of the eggs. 

He opened them all up and opened all the chocolate bunnies. Luckly he didn't eat hardly any of them. 

Then we had a little fun doing one of my family traditions. 

 and of course the classic fun with 3D glasses.

I "ran" into my old Relief Society president  from Humble. a group of them had Run the Marathon Relay.

Silly Brothers

I recently went to a photography class and learned how to use my DSLR camera. I have had the camera for almost 5 years and this was the first time I have ever used manual mode.  It has been fun trying to figure it all out and get the hang of the settings. 

this is rocklond and Knoxx just playing on the couch. 

 Knoxx has grown up so much in the last month I always look at him and think where is my baby! all I see is a toddler.

Rocklond loves to show off and be silly. he came downstairs wearing and interesting hat the other day. he was nice enough to bring a pair to put on knoxx. 

I don't think knoxx thought it was very nice. 

this is one of Knoxx's newest hobby. he is so sweet to always include Rocklond in emptying my cupboards.

I thought there was no harm in allowing them to do this until the other day Knoxx got into a different cupboard and knocked out my blender. It shattered to pieces on the tile.  Now I am going to install a few child locks. 

Rocklond got some new hair! he put this on his head and said "I am Baljeet" ( a character from Phineas and Ferb.)
