4month check up stats/

we made a little stove for rocky to play with. we saw his cousin Asher playing with one and he wanted one too.

 Rocklond found a slug on the sidewalk and it became his pet for the day.  but the real slug wasn't allowed in the house and so rocklond requested I make one out of cardboard. then he wanted me to make it a little house on the side of the stove.

now you might be thinking that is very gross to have a sluggs home so close to where you are cooking, but when the main meal becomes boiled slug then it is actually very convenient. 

We took Knoxx to the DR for his 4month check up.  He is very health and developing normally.

this is a post that I have been putting off because I don't really think comparing children is healthy for me or for the child. both boys were in bead by 8:30 and so I don't have much else to do on a Sunday night so I thought I would blog.    Lately I keep calling Knoxx Rocklond and it isn't just because I mix up the names. I really see Knoxx and think he is Rocklond. So I finally dug into my old pictures and found some pics of Rocklond at 4 months.   I had a suspicion that I was raising identical twins only three years apart. but now that I see the pics side by side I can see the differences. not sure if I could explain them but they are different. and both oh so cute.

Long summer days. Again this has been such a wonderful summer especially these last few weeks. John has taken a break from working his extra jobs and that means he has been here a lot more. So we have been going swimming as a family almost every day. We went to the park and the Zoo but it is still a little hot for that to be really enjoyable. 

John and I have also been working out. I am training  for a half marathon that will be in October.

Knoxx got his first two teeth about a week ago and they are supper cute. Although he likes to bit any fingers that go in his mouth.   He is in the golden stage of being a baby (you know the one where all of his clothes are turning golden colors because his diapers can’t handle their load)

Rocklond is getting better at swimming. He can hold his breath under the water and I just taught him how to push off the bottom of the pool if he is in a spot where he can’t touch.  He loves his baby Brother! This is a wonderful milestone and I am so happy we have made it here. He even likes to borrow his clothes. 

Don't laugh too hard

This summer has been so wonderful. we are just having a blast as a family of 4. Knoxx is adorable and loves to talk to us. 

he is so easy to make smile. 

this Video is not for anyone with  queasy stomach . It is funny however although I don't recommend you watch the whole thing or you might follow in Knoxx's footsteps.  (should invest in steadicam for moms trying to make their kids laugh)

he is starting to roll over he can get onto his side from either his back or his front although he hasn't made a complete roll yet. he can however spin in a circle and so the days of leaving him on the couch or a bed are behind us. 

Rocky has become quite the graphic designer    he loves to draw things in paint on the computer. which is an amazing skill for anyone at any age.  check out his person with in a person drawing (in blue). there is a little guy with arms coming out of his head in the center and that is part of a bigger picture of a guys face.   

he now likes drawing because now he has the dexterity to make things look like what it is supposed to.

Oh and i painted my room. this is an idea I got from a way cute store in Rexburg, ID 

Although I don't think I was able to get it as perfect as they had it I amazed that it turned out as well as it did.

Here he is putting on some little corner accents. This is a section that is covered by the bed. somehow I couldn't get the angles right and things got a little crazy here. lucky Rocklond knew how to fix it, and it happened in an inconspicuous spot.
